FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Why should I give to SAF?

When you give to SAF, you are fueling the mission and vision of our Church. We want everyone, everywhere to come to know Jesus. We are deeply honored that you decided to give and strive to steward your gifts faithfully with ethical business practices and accountability.

  • Where does my money go?

Your money goes toward reaching every man, woman, child, and family for Jesus, teaching the Bible, and unleashing compassion.

Whether it’s creating a seat for someone to sit in, hosting an event where someone hears about Jesus for the first time, or providing warm coffee every Sunday, it all goes toward reaching the next person.

  • What does “tithe” mean?

A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income before taxes or anything else comes out. The Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best back to God, He promises to bless the rest. We can’t outgive God. We know tithing is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone!

  • Is online giving safe and secure?

Absolutely! Our system uses industry-standard SSL technology to ensure that the information you enter is secure from prying eyes. Your giving information is private and confidential to you and only a few staff members within our finance office.

  • Can I modify or cancel my recurring donation at anytime?

Yes - you may log in at any time to make changes, pause, or cancel a recurring gift.

  • What is the most cost effective way to give?

The most cost-effective method of giving to SAF is to give online using the “bank account” payment method. This method has the lowest processing costs, which allows us to put more of your gift into ministry work.
